Watercolor Painting Workshops and Classes
February 27 & 28, March 6 & 7, 2027 | 9:30am – 4:00pm
Join Sue Archer, NWS, AWS, TWSA, for Textures for Watercolor and Watermedia Painters, a technique-focused workshop exploring creative ways to achieve texture. Through demonstrations, lectures, projects, and critiques, participants will explore pigment qualities, masking, lifting, stamping, underpainting, imprinting, painted patterns, alternative surfaces, and more. Part 1: February 27–28, 2027 | 9:30 AM–4:00 PM | $375. Part 2: March 6–7, 2027 | 9:30 AM–4:00 PM | $375. Lessons are progressive, and Part 1 is required to participate in Part 2. One year of watercolor experience is recommended. Finished paintings are not the objective; the focus is on learning techniques and processes that artists can incorporate into their own work.
