Fiber & Flair Wearable Art Market
The Northwest Art Alliance is the non-profit that has produced the Best of the Northwest shows for 38 years. We are excited to announce a new show, Fiber + Flair! The call to artists is open now for the Fiber & Flair Wearable Art Market, February 6-7, 2027 at the beautiful National Nordic Museum in Seattle, WA. Included are a wine garden, special exhibits and demos, customer giveaways and 2 People’s Choice awards for favorite artist booths ($250 each). Open to all types of handmade, wearable art – jewelry, clothing, leather, scarves, shoes, hats, and more. No commercial or buy / sell items are allowed. The Blaine Art Gallery in Blaine, WA invites artists to submit original small-scale artwork for consideration in the Small Art, Big Impact national juried exhibition, October 10 – November 8, 2026. Best in Show & Honorable Mention. With no restrictions on theme or subject, artists are encouraged to explore realistic, abstract, and unexpected approaches while allowing artistry, content, and composition – not sheer scale – to command attention, within a compact format – 2D artwork may be no larger than 16″ on its longest side, and 3D artwork no larger than 15″ in its longest dimension. Acceptable media includes painting, photography, mixed media, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, jewelry, fiber arts, and digital art. TERAVARNA joins forces with another Los Angeles-based gallery, Lucky Cat Gallery, for an ambitious two-month international exhibition, L.A. AXIS, in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Au Naturel: the Nude in the 21st Century
Clatsop Community College in Astoria, OR seeks entries for a juried exhibition, January 21 – March 11, 2027. $1000 in cash prizes. Up to $2000 in purchase awards. One or more artists may be chosen to be featured in a group or solo exhibit. Juror: Daniel Peabody, Senior Gallery Director at Elizabeth Leach Gallery. Au Naturel is an international juried competition open to all artists working in any drawing, painting, and printmaking media with a focus on the nude human figure as subject matter in any form ranging from representational to abstract, and in which the handmade mark is employed as the primary means of image-making. A limited number of three-dimensional works may also be considered. Entrants must be 18 years or older. $45 entry fee for up to three images, and $5 for each additional image. Circle of Art
Showcase and sell your fine art at Circle of Art, a well-established juried art show held each March in beautiful Borrego Springs, California. Since 1989, Circle of Art has featured more than 60 juried artists exhibiting quality work in a variety of media, including painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, fiber arts, jewelry, mixed media, and more. Many artists return year after year, drawn by the welcoming atmosphere, dedicated volunteers, loyal patrons, and strong community support. Complimentary beverages and light refreshments are available for participating artists throughout show hours. Presented by Soroptimists International of Borrego Springs, Circle of Art is the community’s longest-running nonprofit fundraiser.
