Outdoor Sculpture for Sturgeon Bay Waterfront Promenade
The City of Sturgeon Bay, WI is seeking the loan of an original, outdoor sculpture to be displayed on the City’s popular Eastside Waterfront Promenade as part of our Public Art Placement program, Summer 2026 to Summer 2028. $1500 stipend. The piece will be selected by the Local Arts Board of the City of Sturgeon Bay. All sculpture mediums suitable for an outdoor display are acceptable. Pieces must be able to be anchored to the ground. Please submit an artist’s statement and a short statement about the piece and its relevance to this call. Include a digital photo of the piece (finished or in-progress will be accepted, as well as sketches of a planned piece). Pieces should be ready to install upon delivery and should be finished 30 days prior to installation. Transport and installation of the piece will be the responsibility of the artist, but assistance from the City’s Department of Public Works may be available depending upon the original location.
