The deadline for the next round of the Arts Council’s Literature Bursary Award is Thursday, 15 February 2024 at 5.30 pm. The Arts Council offers a Literature Bursary for writers and picture book makers working in the Irish language, and a Literature
Bursary for writers and picture book makers working in the English language.
In advance of the first Bursary deadline of 2024, the Arts Council’s Literature Team (Irish and English language literature) will give an information clinic, outlining the purpose and priorities of the award, how to make an application, and how applications
are assessed. The clinic will also highlight other opportunities available for literary artists in 2024.
The clinic will be held on Thursday,
1 February from 12.30 – 1.15pm on Microsoft Teams. The presentation from the Literature Team should take about 30 minutes, and there will also be time for questions and answers.

Roimh an gcéad spriocdháta don Sparánacht in 2024, cuirfidh Foireann Litríochta na Comhairle Ealaíon (Litríocht an Bhéarla agus Litríocht na Gaeilge) clinic eolais ar siúl ina leagfar amach cuspóir agus tosaíochtaí na dámhachtana, conas iarratas a dhéanamh
agus conas a dhéantar measúnú ar iarratais. Cuirfear béim sa chlinic ar dheiseanna eile a bheidh ar fáil d’ealaíontóirí liteartha le linn 2024.
Beidh an clinic ar siúl Déardaoin, an 1 Feabhra ó 12.30 – 1.15pm ar Teams. Tógfaidh an cur i láthair ón bhFoireann Litríochta thart ar 30 nóiméad, agus beidh am le haghaidh ceisteanna agus freagraí ina dhiaidh sin.
