Hyperview: An International Call for Works About Vastness and Scale
The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization and gallery, Manifest, invites visual artists and designers to submit original works about scale, largeness, and vastness, both formal and conceptual for a juried art exhibition, November 6 – December 4, 2026. Includes honorarium of $50 for each exhibiting artist and Grand Jury Award of $1,000 for one jury-selected work from among the exhibits on view. The Bennett Prize 5
The Bennett Prize is a stipend/grant-in-aid program established by American art collectors Steven Alan Bennett and Dr. Elaine Melotti Schmidt to support women figurative realist painters. The Bennett Prize, administered by The Muskegon Museum of Art (MMA), is awarded biennially and provides $75,000 over two consecutive years ($37,500 annually). Ten (10) finalists will be selected to participate in a traveling exhibition organized by the MMA and the winner will be showcased in a solo exhibition at the close of her grant. A runner up award of $10,000 will be given to one additional finalist. Open only to women 18 years or older who reside at least part time in the United States (U.S. citizenship not required) and who paint figurative realist paintings. Artists may not be enrolled in school and must be currently pursuing or hope to pursue a career as a full-time painter. No students or artists who have received a prior award or grant of $35,000 or have sold any single work of art for $35,000 or more. $50 entry fee. Deadline: September 19, 2026. More info. Emerge 2026
The Midwest Center for Photography in Wichita, Kansas seeks entries for a juried photography exhibition, October 2-26, 2026. Emerge 2026 will feature 20 photographers in the exhibition and online. One recipient will be awarded the $200 Emerge Fellowship Award, and receive one year artist representation by MWCP online. Juror: Linda Robinson, Gallery Director, MWCP. Open to all emerging photographers worldwide. All photographic media is welcome. MWCP is seeking emerging photographers creating fresh and exciting new pictures. 2027 Miami University Young Painters Competition
The Hiestand Galleries at Miami University in Oxford, OH seek entries for their annual juried competition and exhibition, February-March 2027. The Yeck Award winning artwork becomes part of the Miami University Painters of the 21st Century Collection. $10,000 Yeck Purchase Award; $2500 Second Place Award; $2000 Third Place Award. Juror: Dan Cameron. Young Painters, U.S. residents, ages 25 – 35 as of competition entry are invited to participate. 2027 Sculptures on the Square: Constructing Art
Troy Main Street announces a call to artists for an outdoor sculpture exhibition, June 21 – October 8, 2027 in Downtown Troy, Ohio. $1,500 stipend. “Constructing Art” explores the intersection of building and belonging, preservation and progress, history and innovation. We invite artists to consider not only the physical act of construction but the many ways communities are built through collaboration, craftsmanship, resilience, stewardship, and imagination. We encourage broad interpretations of the theme. Artists are encouraged, though not required, to incorporate materials traditionally associated with construction or infrastructure into their work. Whether abstract or representational, whimsical or contemplative, we encourage works that invite curiosity, conversation, and interaction with the public. Must be family-friendly. Collecting Kinship: The Belonging We Build
River Arts, Inc. announces a call to artists for a juried exhibition, Collecting Kinship: The Belonging We Build, December 7, 2026 – February 12, 2027 at the Sauk Prairie River Arts Center in Prairie du Sac, WI. This call for art invites Wisconsin artists to create work that explores the many forms of kinship cultivated through community. Laumeier Sculpture Park 2027 Annual Art Fair
Artists are invited to apply for the 2027 Annual Art Fair, to be held May 7-9 at Laumeier Sculpture Park in St. Louis, MO. $8,000+ in cash and prizes. All artists ages 18 and up who exhibit work of original concept, design, and execution are eligible to apply. Artists may apply in more than one category (up to three); however, a separate application and jury fee must be submitted for each category. Artists may not apply more than once in the same category.
