Inspire wonder for the natural world with a spark of light! Olbrich Botanical Gardens in Madison, WI illuminates 16-acres of lush gardens and a glass conservatory brimming with tropical plants for GLEAM, an annual public art exhibition featuring large-scale light installations. We’re calling all light art luminaries to submit an installation concept that will enhance the natural landscape of our native-focused botanical garden. $6,000-$20,000 per installation. Special consideration will be given to proposals presenting interactive experiences, site specific engagement, botanically inspired or entomology focused concepts, large-scale murals involving UV or projection mapping, AR features, and community collaborations.
