Riverviews Artspace 16th Annual Juried Art Show

Riverviews Artspace in Lynchburg, VA announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, November 1, 2024 – January 9, 2025. 1st Place: $500, 2nd: $250, 3rd: $100, People’s Choice: $50. Juror: Betsy Bannan. Open to artists residing in the United States, regardless of medium or subject matter. 2D Works must be ready to hang and include all necessary hardware. 3D Works must be delivered with installation instructions and all necessary hardware. Call for Entry – Fiber IV, a National Juried Exhibition

This October, LibertyTown Arts Workshop in Fredericksburg, VA presents Fiber IV, an exhibition celebrating everything fiber. 1st place: $500, 2nd place: $250, 3rd Place: $125. We want to showcase the full breadth of fiber art, including but not limited to weaving, dying, felting, sculpture, sewing, quilting, knitting, and crocheting. Fiber can be, but is not limited to, cotton, wood, wool, paper, metal, or synthetic materials. Pieces must consist primarily of fiber and be of original design. The method of displaying the work must be obvious or clearly indicated and easily achieved by our staff. Any specialty hangers or forms must be included with the work. All artists age 16 and older, working in fiber based media, may apply. Work must be original and completed within the last five years. 1st piece for non-member: $25; Member: $15. Timber Creek Trail Extension Public Art RFQ

The City of Lewisville, Texas is seeking qualifications from artists who wish to create a set of artistic markers along the future Timber Creek Trail Extension that will connect an underserved neighborhood with Central Park, the City’s largest neighborhood park. The new trail will be approximately 1 mile long and connect to an existing trail that runs west and connects Central Park to the City’s flagship recreation center – Thrive. Specifically, the City seeks an artist (open to Texas-based artists only), or artist team, who can create a unique work of art that honors the three ecosystems that converge Lewisville for this trail project to enhance this extension. $50,000 budget. This is an opportunity for artists who work in medium to small sized outdoor works, or serial-style works. Artists who work with themes of nature are strongly encouraged to apply. Baytown Sculpture Trail 2025

The Historic Downtown Baytown Arts, Culture, and Entertainment District seeks entries for their annual outdoor sculptures display, April 12, 2025 to March 31, 2026 in Baytown, Texas. $1500 acceptance honorarium; $1000 Best of Show; $2000 People’s Choice Award. Up to 25 works will be juried into the show. All genre of sculpture accepted. The City of Cedar Park, Texas is seeking to commission an interactive mural that will be placed near a new playground that was recently installed at the City’s Brushy Creek Lake Park. $3,000 budget. Design proposals should: 1) Be family-friendly and fitting for a community park environment. 2) Be interactive, providing a fun photo opportunity for members of the community. 3) Compliment the overall aesthetic of the park.
