GoggleWorks Summer Artist Residency
GoggleWorks Center for the Arts in Reading, PA announces a call to artists for their Summer Artist Residency, May 22 – August 3, 2025. GoggleWorks will select three residents for the summer 2025 residency. $2,500 stipend. Artists working in all mediums are invited to apply. Residents should be self-motivated and enthusiastic, dedicated to their artwork, and enjoy working with other people in a community studio setting. Our campus houses a Ceramics Studio, Garden/Horticultural, Wood Shop, Hot Glass Shop, Warm Glass Studio, Metals/Fine Metals Studios, 2D Studio, Print Studio, Textiles Studio, Darkroom, and Digital Lab. 102nd Annual Erie Art Museum Spring Show
The Erie Art Museum in Erie, PA announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, April 3 – August 8, 2025. A total of $15,000 in cash prizes and sales is expected. Cash awards totaling $2,500, including the Northwestern Pennsylvania Artists Association (NPAA) Award, and $12,000 in anticipated sales. Juror: Keliy Anderson-Staley. Call for Artists – Commemorative Public Art
The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) encourages all professional public artists and design professionals within the U.S., 21 years of age old or older, to submit their qualifications for site-specific public art commissions. The anticipated public art commission for each site will range from $15,000 to $150,000. Preference may be given to applicants located within the Greater Maryland, Washington, DC and Virginia area. Artists must demonstrate experience with successfully executed public art projects, unless applying as part of an artist-team under the direction of an experienced lead artist. A committee will select 3 candidates for each historic site to enter the proposal stage. Semi-finalists will be provided with more detailed project information, timelines, and a $1,500 stipend to develop and present their proposals for review. This is a very competitive program as RAL can only accept a limited number of proposals each year. Artworks in any media will be reviewed.
